Josh McDowell said this. He was talking about teenagers. It's so true. If you come down hard on your teenagers, as a parent because you truly want them to be better than the average but you don't build a relationship with them they won't respond very well. You gotta let them know they are important to you because you spend time with them and go out of your way to help and enjoy them.
