When my brother was a teenager he got two old-timey trucks and pieced them together into one. For the parts he couldn't find anywhere he would order them from a catalog. There were a few complications here and there with the truck breaking down but it was an unusual and good experience. Here's an old truck I saw on Craig's List that reminds me of his. It's not the exact year though. The paint was also old and rusty.
