I've been going to church regularly since I was about 12 years old. When I would attend church way back then (late '70's, early '80's) there was a famous painting that would hang on the walls of churches. It was about the Rapture, the day when Jesus returns and takes Christians from the earth. The painting was not exquisite but was one to look at and study.
The end times don't scare me. Even though the Bible tells of terrible things that will happen on the earth. When I read Jesus words about the end times I get afraid for a little bit wondering if something really scary will happen to us but just as Jesus tells these things will happen, he also says not to worry if your living each day doing what He wants you to do. When our pastor talks of the end times at church He talks of them positively and with excitement without worry but that Bible prophecy is unfolding before our eyes.
It was a bit difficult but I found the painting on a blog site.
